All-On-4 dental implants

All-On-4 dental implants

The All-on-4 treatment is a proven dental implant solution developed for people with poor dental health and/or totally missing teeth. This procedure provides the patient with an immediate result of a full set of fixed teeth within a day. The dental implants are situated in such a way to maximise the use of available bone, eliminating the need for bone grafting while providing excellent strength and stability for a full arch of replacement teeth.

What is the Process for All-on-Four Treatment?

Planning

Planning is a crucial part of the procedure in order to achieve the best outcome. As a first step a CT scan is required that presents 3-D images of your jawbone. It allows our dentist to evaluate the amount of bone available for implant placement and to plan the exact position of each implant accurately. The scan also ensures that we avoid all essential structures like nerves.

Digital photographs and Impressions

We take digital photographs of your face and teeth and impressions of both your upper and lower jaws. These dental impressions are used to create models for the planning process.

Measurements

Accurate measurements are taken of your mouth to design your replacement teeth. We consider various factors, including your natural gum line, as sometimes it is necessary to remove a small portion of the jawbone in a ridge reduction process. Removing the bone helps create more room for your replacement teeth, ensuring enough space for teeth that look and feel natural.

Same Day Teeth

We want to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible during the entire process. If necessary, we can provide sedation in addition to anaesthesia for your implant surgery, helping you relax. Once we are sure you are entirely comfortable, our dentist can remove any remaining teeth before placing the dental implants, following your implant plan closely. Once the new dental implants are in position, we take a new impression of your mouth so our in-house laboratory can begin fabricating your teeth.Once your new teeth are ready, they are screwed onto your dental implants and you are ready to go with your new smile. These teeth are made from acrylic, they will look and feel  good right away.

Final Zirconia Bridge

It will take about six months for your new implants to fully integrate with your jawbone. The screw-retained immediate bridge serves as a temporary solution initially, with the eventual recommendation of replacing it with a stronger zirconia bridge. However, many patients opt to retain it for an extended period, requiring more frequent check-ups and maintenance. The final teeth are crafted from zirconia, a durable ceramic material that closely replicates the appearance and sensation of natural teeth. Once your new teeth are in place, the procedure is complete, and you can look forward to enjoying your new permanent replacement teeth.
